I think Kratos has more selling potential the Drake. According to this article Uncharted has outsold God of War this generation by 2.19 million. However I thing serious factors have to be considered.

The US price will be cut shortly. The PS3 with hard drive is not cheaper than the 360 with hard drive. If that continues through the holidays then the PS3 may outsell it in the US this holiday. Microsoft won't let that happen. Get ready for a $50 price cut.

Taking away gore in Ninja Gaiden is nothing close to removing gore from God of War.
Kratos is like the king of gore, the master of brutal death, the author and inventor of angry killing, the...well, the very God of War himself.
Ryu is fast and surgical, bloody killing is not nearly as essential to his character as it is for Kratos.

Normally I come down of the PS3 side of arguments, but I can't see why this matters at all. If you want to play the game on 360, buy the game and play it on 360. It is not the first time we have had a two disc 360 game. Mass Effect 2 had two discs and made you switch them TWICE.

You misunderstand. The point of the article is at developers should make a moral decision. My point is that if anyone is going to make a more moral decision it should be for Call of Duty to stop trying to "hog" Christmas. Don't get it twisted...those sales numbers would be less than half of what they are if Call of Duty released in January or February.

If any game is going to delay it should be Modern Warfare 3. There has been a Call of Duty game every Christmas season going back 4 or 5 years. You can't expect every good game to keep moving out of the Christmas window and allowing the Call of Duty to sell 20-25 million units without serious competition.

I never to do that on the first playthrough. The first playthrough should be to just do what feels natural.
